1881 CENSUS - living at 11 Willow Walk, Barking. Aged 13. Scholar. Born in Ilford.

1891 Census - can't find him after exhaustive search.

5/4/1892 - Married at Parish Church, Great Ilford, Essex. Occupation given as Policeman. Witnesses James & Charlotte Richardson - CERTIFICATE.
Apparently the family moved from Ilford to Peterborough at some point - (conversation with Great Aunt Win)

6/2/1895 - living at 13 Queens Walk, Woodstone, Peterborough and occupation given as Railway Watchman on son's birth certificate (George Charles)

1901 CENSUS - living at 11 Cottage Place, Romford. Aged 31. Occupation Railway Constable G.E. Railway. Born in Ilford.

21/4/1901 - living at 11 Martins Cottages, Romford, Essex and occupation given as Police Constable on daughter's birth certificate (Jane Elizabeth)

1911 CENSUS - living at 49 Market Place, Romford, Essex. Aged 40. Married. Occupation Police Constable G E Railway. Born in Ilford, Essex. Census shows they lost a child at some point. House had 6 rooms and 12 occupants!

19/3/1931 - Died at 19 Norfolk Road, Romford, Essex - CERTIFICATE. Occupation given as Police Constable L.N.E.R. (G.E.R. became part of L.N.E.R. in the 1923 grouping). Cause of death given as (1) ? pneumonia and (2)Tabies Dorsalis (syphilis!)

Visit to Great Aunt Win (Win M Richardson): he worked on Goods at Bishopsgate with the L.N.E.R. he "checked off drivers passes".
